Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport

We stayed here for one night to catch a place early the next morning. It looks more convenient to the airport on a map than it really is. You can't walk to the hotel from the terminal. We just missed a hotel courtesy bus (which unfortunately makes the circuit once an hour - and took the 'express' subway/train line one stop to just outside the hotel entrance. You don't need to pay for the subway as the hotel is considered to be 'on the airport property'. Just tap your credit card on the pad at the turnstile entrance - no charge. We did manage to catch the free shuttle to the airport the next morning. You need to make a reservation, as it gets very crowded.

Very Convenient to the MRT station. One stop from the terminal then you walk out of the exit and you are at the hotel and its a free service. We already had easy cards, but apparently you don't need to buy them for this service. We were on a layover so we had minimal luggage so opted for the MRT rather than the hotel shuttle, no waiting around at you get out in the terminal. Quiet and comfortable, great for a layover. You do pay for the convenience though. We grabbed a couple of beers from the convenience store in the terminal and relaxed in our room watching the plains take off and land in the rain.

Easy check-in, very well maintained. The bathroom was very nice and clean and modern. They provided extra drinking water bottles for us, about 4 of them in the fridge. The room felt very clean and not "cheap feeling" furniture and amenities. The staff were incredibly helpful, even at 11pm almost midnight and early morning. They have available breakfast options in the hotel and nice seasonal (Christmas) decor! Would recommend and was very happy we stayed here, rather than the capsule hotels etc. Novotel and the Taiwan airport were very organized in arranging a free shuttle to and from, and a wakeup call as well.

the staff, and free airport transfer which is convenient for travellers. there is even a DIY washing machine, but it is located next building which is their new building, mostly for China airline stewardess.. NT $60 for washing and NT$10 per 8 min for dry cleaning

The airport shuttle is convenient and easy to find, and runs from 04:30 from the hotel and just after 06:00 from the airport, so it's convenient for most flight options. The front desk staff was AMAZING. The early check-in is very expensive, but the staff did everything possible to make us comfortable after a long flight and store our bags, give us a place to freshen up and change before going out to wait on our check-in time, etc. They were very nice and explained everything. The hotel room was quite large and the bathroom was very nice. The bed was quite comfortable and we slept incredibly well. It's a standard price for an airport accessible hotel, but if you are exhausted and need a convenient rest, it's a great value compared to many other airport hotels. There's also a train stop right at the hotel into the city and back. Very very convenient!
