The location is convenient for an overnight stay. Facilities are good, but the club on the 9th floor looks more like a canteen than a lounge. We enjoyed dinner at Cantonese restaurant and drinks at the lounge at the hotel lobby. Our suite is comfy, although to get the wc to work its functions, we have to hold the remote instead of being able to press the buttons where they were (attached to the wall). The two remotes for the tv don't work unless after multiple pressing on the same buttons. Breakfast spread looks good but won't say the same for taste. We had the omelette, which is alright, but the mini sausages were "rubbery" ...... the transfer to the airport was on time, overall it's a nice stay... P.S. forgot to ask her name, but the female staff at the lounge who served us was very bubbly and courteous... thanks to her cheerful greetings at the door (while we were heading to the restroom after dinner), we decided to have a few drinks before we called in the night. Thanks to her welcome, we had a nice evening of chat over drinks.

Proximity to the airport was great! The pick-up and drop-off shuttle services were very handy - they arrive and depart promptly on time which is nice. The hotel is a short 5-10 min drive to/from Taipei Taoyuan airport. Staff at the check-in and checkout desks were very courteous, welcoming and professional even late at night and early morning - truly service from the heart! Room was very clean and modern. Bed was super comfy and plenty of complimentary bottled water available. Amenities like toothbrush are not laid out in the bathroom in order to be more environmentally-friendly, but are really available if you ask at reception. The shower gel and shampoo in the shower smell so amazing!

Greenwicher

If you have a late evening arrival or early morning flight, this is definitely the hotel for you. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations and the shuttle to the airport seamless (the travel time is less than 10 minutes.) Make sure to reserve a spot on the shuttle when you check in though the bus is very large. From the Taipei Main Station, there is a stop on the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport MRT called "Airport Hotel" and from there, its a quick walk to the Novotel. Beyond the hotel (in the direction away from Taipei) there is a Taoyuan Metro stop for an Outlet Mall - it's extensive and interesting to walk around if you have extra time.

Had a little surprise when I entered the room - did not expect the hotel room view to oversee the runway! My toddler was super excited, so was I. Surprisingly, while we are right beside the runway, the room was pretty soundproof as well. The food at The Square was spectacular as well. We had the ala carte as we were not too hungry but the buffet spread looked amazing. Lastly, needless to say, it was at super close proximity to the airport. My family took the airport shuttle at 7am to reach airport in less than 15 mins. With a toddler, this was a comfortable arrangement which took away alot of unnecessary anxiety.
